This isn't one of my virtues, but I am very impatient when standing in line at the grocery store and the lady in front of me is making a big deal over 25 cents and holding the line up. That doesn't make me a terrorist. Not until I take my can of Ragu and hit the lady in front of me over the head with it ;-)

Food for thought.
I was at a Memorial Day service today at a public building with military significance, and you better believe that I was conscious of the people and situation around me. I wasn't paranoid--just aware.

Pushing a baby carriage through a crowd. Fans of "La Femme Nikita" know what that's all about. Perfect cover for a terrorist.

This is what Israel lives with everyday. Unfortunately, we will have to face these kinds of threats here now. I would hope that the authorities would be vigilant in checking the behavior of people to help prevent attacks.

A terrorist, Homeland Security officials wrote, may be detected by his "Pale face from recent shaving of beard," or by "No obvious emotion seen on the face" or "May appear to be in a 'trance.'"

It's the fidgeting that's going to get me. I can't sit for long periods of time or lie down without getting the creepy crawlies in my legs, so I fidget alot.

I hate that too. The last time it happened, it was over 69 cents. I set three quarters down in front her and she snapped at me with "I don't want YOUR money!" Try and picture the average woman from Ohio in her late 30's/early 40's...yeah, she has as a$$ the size of a love-seat...dripping with "northern hospitality" (ain't no such thing!). I told her that she was now not just on MY time, but the time of the 12 other people behind me. She left in a huff without my 75 cents or the 69 cents in question.

"This is what Israel lives with everyday.",/i>One huge difference: Israel isn't bothered with PC liberal claptrap. They look for terrorists, not weapons. In other words, racial profiling.
We would be wise to employ a similar strategy......

To: Orangedog
Well next time you better cool it, buddy... don't want the terrorism cops to come and take you away, do ya?

I would think real terrorists would want to blend in more and be volunteers...and use their affirmative action rights to govt jobs ...such as or including.. police, fire, emergency, and the military including the national guard

In a recent memo to police, the Homeland Security Department said local officers should watch for anyone who "may show arrogance and hatred toward Americans through bragging, expressed dislike of attitudes and decisions of the U.S. government, superiority of religious beliefs and difficulty tolerating proximity to those he hates." We should see lots of islamonazis freeping if this is the case.
