I hate that too. The last time it happened, it was over 69 cents. I set three quarters down in front her and she snapped at me with "I don't want YOUR money!" Try and picture the average woman from Ohio in her late 30's/early 40's...yeah, she has as a$$ the size of a love-seat...dripping with "northern hospitality" (ain't no such thing!). I told her that she was now not just on MY time, but the time of the 12 other people behind me. She left in a huff without my 75 cents or the 69 cents in question.

as far as supermarkets are concerned, i have been a terrorist for 25-30 yrs. Why do they put in 50 check out lines and only have 10 people working on friday afternoon??
