MPD hasn't let out much of the leaks on the case, only as I call them, teasers, to get those to jump and do stuff, LE loves to 'fish' them in... Now the DA, maybe something different, but if they want to lose a case, leak away.... /me silliness off....lol...

Geraldo and Rita both having Laci coverage tonight.
They all think that she was dismembered.
And Rita said that she has been told by the prosecution that they have a LOT more surprises to come.
Geraldo, of course, says that if they had anything they would have leaked it by now; Rita says they aren't leaking stuff.

I KNEW he did it when he wouldn't permit the police to search the home on the night he reported her missing.
I KNEW he did it the night of the 23rd, when the neighbor reported the shades, blinds or curtains, had not been opened the morning of the 24th as was Laci's habit.
Letting the dog out with the leash attached was a nice touch, or so he thinks. To me, that only illustrates his capability for deception --- right down to the last detail. Oh, this was very well planned. "Pre-mediatated" is the term used in law, right?

Even if you are the one who called the police, and even if you let them come in and sit down, they still don't have a right to then proceed to search in other areas of your home--unless you give your consent. They will be looking around as they sit there talking to you, you bet. But they can't just get up and go around opening drawers or whatever.
These rights, being in the Constitution, must be very explicitly waived by you. If you aren't waiving them every step of the way, then the police can't assume consent by you, nor can a court.

"I'm backing the police on this one."
Then your being foolish... Again, from the article the police arn't disputing what these folks say, and there will be records. They would also, under normal circumstances, have to undergo a lie detector test...

Veronica, from what I understand, 60% of the men in this country cheat on their wives during their lifetime, and 40% of the women do as well.
The fact that you consider him a slime does not make him guilty of murder.

You cant look at this objectivly because you have already made up your mind without hearing any of the evidence...

That's a pretty wacked out site you linked to. Extremely anti-Bush in addition to all the other world stuff.

You cant look at this objectivly because you have already made up your mind without hearing any of the evidence...I haven't SEEN the evidence, and neither can you.
And just because I don't agree with you doesn't mean I'm not objective.

I, for one, don't intend to be objective. I intend to be intuitive and I agree with you. We are not on the jury and our opinions will not convict an innocent person. Regardless, Scott did it and MG is turning this into a media circus for his own selfish reasons. What's to be objective about?

We can be objective the entire time we're thinking up ways to torture him. :-)

Babygene I am not sure if you read my post #115. In it I stated that there was NO search at the park that day(if I am wrong someone, please correct me). So how could Homar have a conversation with policeman conducting a search New Year's Day and what he had seen, when there was NO police search that day in the park. Right there his story does not check out. As far as police not deneying his story, according to Prosecutor Goold they are not going to get into saying why they are discrediting certain sightings, it would compromise evidence in the case.
If I am wrong please feel free to correct me.

You are much more knowledgeable about the time line and all its details that I am, so I bow to your knowledge and take your word for it.
