In 1992, Mr. Arguelles abducted and strangled Margo Bond, a janitor at a junior high school where he had been hunting for teenage victims. He also kidnapped, sexually assaulted and killed two girls, ages 13 and 15, and stabbed a 16-year-old girl more than 40 times. He was sentenced to death in 1997. Mr. Arguelles has repeatedly said he wants to die.

Mr. Kell was convicted in 1996 of killing a black man, Lonnie Blackmon, at the Utah State Prison. Mr. Kell, serving time for a previous murder, stabbed Mr. Blackmon 67 times with a homemade knife in 1994. A prison videotape shows Mr. Kell shouting, "White power!" during the attack.

I don't see anything inappropriate about this. It says they're taking volunteers from the towns of the crime and that there will be one blank so no one will know who did it. I would imagine that if they're taking volunteers from the towns of the crime that one blank would not be necesary. I understand the concept, but given the crime description I don't think I'd need it.

Proof of media bias? How about "gunman?" Where did that word come from? Doesn't it so clearly and unambiguously tell you where the AP and newspapers stand on the issue? Jayson Blair is still with us! The media is still tilting to the extreme left.

This is why we must seize back our language and not allow the left-wing media, by default, to control the language agenda. "Gunman" is a loaded word that conveys significant meaning. It should be protested as extremely biased. Utah is looking for members of a firing squad. Utah NEVER said "gunman" and some leftist sleaze reporter slipped that in.

I was in Salt Lake visiting when Gilmore got his. I woke up early to drive down to the prison that day. The radio said it was being delayed again. I turned around and drove back to the house. When I got back, I heard that Gary Gilmore had been executed.

As I recall somebody was selling Tshirts out front of the prison that day that had a bullseye on it and about twenty holes in it.

For God, for country, for Margo and Lonnie and the unnamed girls, count me in. I'm not sure that I'm that good a shot anymore. One thing I am, is persistant. I'll bring some extra ammo just in case. You don't think they'd have a metal detector if you were doing the shooting would they?
