Know I was living in TX at the time and couldn't stand Perot for what he had done to
Texas education through Ma Richards.
That story never got out along with a lot of others on Little Big Ears!

That's no joke!

I didn't vote for Perot, although my smarter-than-me (honestly) cousin in Dallas did.
I do remember hearing some muttering about Perot's involvement with the Texas
education system, but never heard anything substantive.

Me? I was foolish enough to read the glowing endorsements of one William
Jefferson Clinton in numerous news sources (including the New York Times...HA, HA, HA!!!
Only after I voted did I find out that "the joke was on me"!)

PhiKapMom, have a nice weekend and Memorial Day Observance...you and all your family.
I will at least walk through the National (Veteran) Cemetary here in West Los
Angeles on Monday.

Remember driving through Arkansas several years after Clinton had been in office and seeing bumperstrips -- I am from Arkansas and I DIDN'T VOTE for Clinton!

You have a nice Memorial Weekend as well! No special plans here except stay in Norman and off the Interstate -- construction just north of Norman! Did stock up on items for the grill -- hope the rain holds off during those times.

OK, I'm going "off-topic"...but let this be a record of "Real American" thought on
Memorial Day 2003...

No special plans here except stay in Norman and off the Interstate --
construction just north of Norman!

LOL! So the totally non-partisan "employment for life" scheme continues in Oklahoma.

10 years ago, the stretch just north of that big highway intersection just south of
Crossroads Mall was in the middle of a lifetime "improvement" project!

Did stock up on items for the grill -- hope the rain holds off during those times.

As long as a REAL tornado doesn't show up...you can say "It's all good".

Each and everyone of us needs to work in this campaign like we are behind and don't let up until after your polls have closed.

You are so right! And never underestimate the Rats' voter machine.
