Rush Limbaugh will modestly point out on his Open Line Friday telephone in radio show that this is another instance of the Rush Echo Syndrome at work.

Things look good for 43 but anything can happen between now and a year from November next.
Bush or anybody else for that matter can be beaten by a bad economy. Those soup bowls must be filled or the politicians in charge are going to pay.
If there is another terrorist attack on American soil, then Bush can be sacrificed for that too. I myself will blame him for not doing anything to secure our borders and rein in legal and illegal immigration.

The American people are very bright and very realistic. They understand and expect another "terrorist shoe" to drop in the United States someday. That's the reality we all live with after Sept. 11.

That said, many Americans still believe that Mr. Bush will be the right person to have in the White House should that occur. Many American voters simply don't believe that any of the Democrats running right now would confront or hit back at terrorists as hard as Mr. Bush would.

This is the TRUTH. The DEMONCRATS are toast. And I'm pretty sure the HILDEBEAST will NEVER get another chance to TRASH the White House and steal more furniture.

This article is spot on and deserves more attention.

A RWP ping list ping is in order for this realistic look at what choice we will be faced with in November 2004

Here's hoping for a hundred year war.

It's not that I'm a bloodthirsty SOB, it's just that I don't see any way of defeating the mohammadans except over the long term -- unless we go nuclear. And 100 hundred years of no rats in the White House sounds good to me!

**Publicly, they would state Mr. Bush is in trouble. But privately, to a person, they say the election is all but over, and he will win.**

The dims know they are doomed!

They are looking toward 2008 and expect Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York and Gov. Edward G. Rendell of Pennsylvania to be the front-runners.

I've never heard about Rendell. 2008 is still a long way off. Anything could happen, except Hillary deciding not to run.

Actually, I am looking forward to this race and stocking up on micro-wave popcorn so I can reply the tapes and watch for amusement:

"And then, there was the time he could not--you know--treat me like a woman. Right Johnny boy? A little too much salt peter in your coffee dear? He isn't like my dear departed saint of a husband in THAT category--I tell you what. HA! Oh, and then he thinks he is getting his hands on MY MONEY! Oh look, he's having another flashback! DOWN BOY--oooh, this is so much fun."

The recent terrorist attacks in Saudi Arabia and Morocco have the nine Democrats candidates and many liberals in the media charging that Mr. Bush's war on terrorism is a "failure." A little honesty and objectivity by those Democrats and those in the media would be appreciated by the American people.

A little honesty and objectivity by Democrats? Bush has nothing to worry about in 2004.

This looks like a good thread for you.

Me, I only hope that Rove & Co. make sure the GOP voters do not get complacent in any degree. Build on the GOTV effort big time. If W looks unbeatable come votin' time, many Rats will stay home and, unfortunately, lazy Republicans. A huge Senate majority is definitely possible if the vote is turned out....

Thanks for the ping.

Coupla comments after reading entire thread---

1.--Never underestimate the ability of Hillary Clinton to rise, like a phoenix, from the ashes. Remember how it was with Bill--"The Comeback Kid"--just when you thought you had him DEAD---like Freddie Kruger, he just kept coming back. Ditto with Hillary. She will always find a way to come back. Susan Estrich learned that even commenting negatively about Hillary results in being snubbed by newspapers which otherwise would be delighted to print your column. Hillary is a deadly concoction. The Lady MacBeth of the 21st century. The Black Widow Spider of life forms.

2.--I feel a little queasy about 2004 when I read about what's going on currently in Iraq. We won the war a heck of a lot easier than we're able to keep the peace and help the Iraqis rebuild a life for themselves. More news coverage about this might undermine the tremendous wave of support for Bush right now. This would be terrible--and could be prevented.

I would be willing to bet that before the end of his second term the terrorist threat will mostly be gone. THAT is why he'll be re-elected. If President Bush does not get re-elected there is a very good chance this country will suffer greatly. We simply can't afford it.
