The best female player in the history of golf finishes in the middle of the pack in a dull PGA tour event that is minus the best male players and on a course tailor-made for her talents under ideal weather conditions. Wow, I'm like so impressed.

Well, yes, I am. She's the best ever... impressive. She's working under some HEAVY scrutiny, and has yet to make a mistake... impressive. She was not expected to make the cut, and she's below par (the cut at the Colonial has never been below par)... impresssive. She was wise to choose a course tailored to her game... not impressive, but at least shows intelligence.

She can't control who plays thre, so I don't begrudge her the "best males aren't there" thing.

Ideal weather conditions? Wet, slick, and muddy don't make for a good, predictable golf game. But it is rather nice out here in Indiana today!

Wet conditions bring down the scores in almost all tournaments. The hardest part of the PGA tour is putting and soft greens make the greens much easier.

For her game, a wet course is ideal. Not making mistakes does not impress, but others clearly have lower expectations for her.
