I was wondering the same thing. Bush was a Yalie.Slick Willie met the Hildebeast at Yale Law School........perhaps Satan is sending out a homing call.

I have taken exams in those 1st floor classrooms near the mail room. I hope nobody was taking an exam in a classroom where a bomb exploded.
FMC live shot also showing on-ground US Postal Inspector Police on scene now.

That was my argument.
I think this was an inside job.

Yale's walls and floors are 3" thick oak Latent defects in materials, rot, poor workmanship - all possible factors ...

Sounds like it was a pretty big explosion if all of these damage reports are correct.
Actually sounds like a bit of "initial report exagerration creep" to me.
Seems a whole floor actually didn't collapse, "wall" may have mutated into "floor" etc. And auditorium ceilings usually have flimsy acoustical tiling; some of them fall and there's an "auditorium ceiling collapse."
To: Dialup Llama
""he explosion occurred almost exactly 10 years after the Unabomber, Theodore Kaczynski, mailed a bomb to Yale that severely injured a professor in June 1993." Initial damage assessment indicates this to be anything but a "simple" mail bomb a la Kaczynski.

One of the most prominent supporters of the legality of President Bush's War on Terror was Yale Law School professor Ruth Wedgwood.

Actually, they've had Yale law students on tv saying that they ARE in the middle of exams.
Maybe the Law School semesters run later or differently than the others.

US Postal Inspector? I see they're bringing out the Big Guns! Does this guy need the hazard pay? C'mon!
NBC30's man on the scene, Derek Slap, is reporting from the incident headquarters-
- Confirmed by New Haven Police that there were no injuries.
- CT State Police confirm bomb.

Correct - what with the building apparently built around 1920 or so? (Not sure on this, listening to Napolitano)

How soon do you think the pundits will try to pin this on some white guy, probably a loner, driving a white van or panel truck. ,
