It's Our Existence, Stupid
By Tov B. Brog

May 21st 2003 Lets just cut to the chase. Forget about avoiding provocation. Stop agonizing over land-for-peace deals thatll never work. Quit thinking that the other side, whether they be Islamic fundamentalists going after the US, or Palestinians blowing up kids in Israel, is interested in any final deal that leaves us with breath in our bodies. They arent.
We need to get it through our heads that its our existence thats the problem here.
We have to start taking the Bin-Ladens and the Arafats at their word. With Arafat its not the false message he plies us with in his broken, stuttering English. Its his words in Arabic, to his foaming-at-the-mouth followers, that broadcast his real intentions. In those speeches, he repeatedly refers to homicide bombers as martyrs; declares his dedication to the liberation of Al-Quds, Jerusalem to the rest of us; and makes clear his determination to follow the 1974 PLO plan for the liberation of Palestine. That particular roadmap lays out a step-by-step framework for destroying Israel, including the establishment of an interim Palestinian national authority that will serve as a springboard for the final assault.
You want proof that he isnt interested in peace? Look at the deal Israels Prime Minister Barak was willing to give in 2001: a Palestinian state with shared sovereignty over Jerusalem, control of the Temple Mount, 92% of the West Bank, 100% of the Gaza strip, and a piece of Israels territory to make up the difference. Arafat didnt even counter the offer. He just walked out and started a bloody uprising.
It isnt the land. It isnt Palestinian sovereignty. It isnt even Jerusalem. Its Israels existence that offends the Palestinians. If Israel were to surrender unconditionally, then, following the massacre of as many Jews as possible, thered be peace. In the meantime, for the Arabs, every compromise the US might come up with is only a stepping-stone to Israels demise.
When all this happened, the Israeli left, having become a one-issue movement, all but collapsed. I know. I was there. They were like wide-eyed guppies that had just had acid dumped into their aquarium. So deluded were they that many still insisted on pursuing the discredited Oslo accord, explaining their lunacy by saying at least we have a plan. Thats like having your wife shoot your dog, burn down the house, clear out the bank account and run off with your best friend while you insist shell come back because its the only alternative you can think of. Have fun waiting. How about the possibility that shes not coming back, ever again, even in a thousand years?
The Palestinians arent following any Roadmap to peace unless theyre dragged along kicking and screaming, with a gun to their head.
So, cut to the global war on terror.
The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is symbolic of the more general one between the West and radical Islam. Its not support for Israel. Its not the presence of US troops in Saudi Arabia. Its not even our economic and military superiority that resides at the core of their enmity towards us. Its our very existence that threatens them. And the friction between us cant be avoided.
In a global economy, we have to interact with each other. We rely on them to meet our energy needs and they rely on us to provide the goods and services that keep their countries running. But they cant handle the collateral effects. The freedom that we take for granted is an obscenity to fundamentalist Islam, and its a threat to their authority. Over 70% of Iranians want closer ties to the US, according to recent polls. Theyre supreme leader, Ayatollah Khameni, has expressly forbidden such a move. From the time of Mohammed, he and his ilk have always applied a simple formula to their interaction with others: submit or die. There is no compromise.
So, again, its our existence, stupid. Our tolerance, our desire for compromise and coexistence, is just another sign of our impending collapse, a colossal weakness to be exploited.
There are only two ways to end our war on terrorism. We can destroy the terrorists, eliminate their sponsors and intimidate their sympathizers into inaction, or; we can submit to their authority and convert, or accept second-class citizenship, under an Islamic regime.
You only need to look at their public pronouncements and published writings to see the truth. They make no effort to hide their true intentions. When Mein Kampf was published in 1925, Hitler spelled out his plans in detail. The world ignored him and paid an awful price. Lets hope our generation avoids the same mistake.
Open your eyes and open your ears. This is a fight to the death. The sooner we accept that, the better off well be. Just as the Israeli Labor Party nearly led their country to disaster, our own appeasers, including the Arabists in our State Department, will try to push us down the path of compromise. Thats a deal with the Devil that we dare not make.
For the sake of our country, our civilization and future generations, we cant allow that to happen.
Its us, or them.

Islam is a religion of DEATH.
Any questions?
To: CatoRenasci
True very true, but even being subject to islam will not bring peace as we well know. Or else they would not always be fighting one another. Even if every one in the world became islamic, there would still be stoneings, reprisals, and torture. For the only way evil people keep control is fear. Take fear out of the equasion and you will find out a mans true feelings.

It's always been this way. It took 09/11/01 for us to finally see the writing on the wall.

yep, Barak virtually tried to give the whole farm away ... and it STILL wasn't enough for Yasser Arafat ... in "Israel, Islam and Armageddon" (VHS and now DVD), Yasser Arafat is quoted as saying "peace for us (PLO), means the destruction of Israel".
on a near-daily basis, I believe Arafat demonstrates he believes this ...

What do you mean, "we", Kemo Sabe? He means the United States, Israel, and the whole damn West. In case you don't remember, Israel is only the Little Satan to these people - the Great Satan is US. You think you can appease them by throwing Israel to these demons? That just moves us up their list.
We have a choice in dealing with these Islamofascists: We can fight them now, when we are strong and they are weak, or we can fight them later, when we are weak and they are strong. Your choice. Think hard.

With Arafat its not the false message he plies us with in his broken, stuttering English. Its his words in Arabic, Arafat is a lot more diplomatic since someone informed him that some of the Infidels speak Arabic as well as he does and he doesn't have a secret language available like he thought he did.

Indeed, it is time to take the blinders off.
The only way that there will be peace between the Palestinians and Israel, is when one is subjugated by the other.
Someone has to win, outright and unquestionably.
Israel needs to go in and DESTROY the PLO and ARRAFAT, then say, if there are no terrorist attcks for 6 months straight, you may have democratic elections.
If there is an attack, OK, 6 more months, and POUND it inot the heads of the Palestinians. Every time there is an attack, the clock goes to zero and we stay.
Then you put the onus on the Palestinians, destroy the terrorists yourselves, or we stay put and make your lives miserable.

Agreed. I think Sharon has implemented that policy (though I'm not sure what he's thinking now). So they decided to attack the USA. The USA isn't as patient and forgiving as Israel is; we've gone to war with two nations since 9/11.
I don't want to see it, but if it's war they keep asking for, it's war they are going to get ... real war ... not just a tank shell or a targeted terrorist leader ... real war ... the real thing ... some of them, Hamas and Hizbollah, and indeed the likes of Osama bin Laden are counting on just that ...
interesting days indeed ...

Reminds me of that Chinese curse.
May you live in interesting times.
I hate to say it, but we are living in interesting times.
Problem is that these little terrorists are like rats.
They feed off the refuse of civilization, but then they get diseased and spread the disease to their host.
If the host dies, then they die, but the host needs to go in and irradicate them, completely and utterly.
They don't need to be convinced that they are wrong, they need to die, PERIOD.
Terrorists will not be dealt with, they will be destroyed, not brought to justice, not imprisoned, not converted, KILLED, destroyed, utterly, totally and completely.
If you are a terrorist, your life is forfiet.

BRAVO! We need more of this in the media.
ISLAM IS THE ENEMY-- of modern civilization, of all other religions, of anyone who will not submit to it's barbaric teachings.
We must defeat every aspect of Islam on this planet. To fail is to have a world plunged back to the dark ages. There IS no compromise.

Great lines indeed, bump.
