Now to just shut down the EPA, whose main tenet these days is to unconstitutionally force socialist laws and behaviour on US citizens.

Environmental justice, created in an executive order by clinton, and implemented by the EPA is one of the _biggest_ threats to freedom and property rights in this country today.

Just abolish the dang EPA and save our rights.

All they ever did for me was force me to buy reformulated gas, which is not only worse for my car, but costs more than normal gas to boot. Insult to injury.

Be gone, damned spot.

I disagree with shutting down the EPA. But there should be some common-sense environmental protection at the federal level.

I think the EPA, U.S. Fish and Wildlife, the Interior, etc should all be merged into a streamlined Dept of Natural Resources or something.

I was thinking the same thing, let the Democrats try to filibuster the EPA appointment. I don't care if they never fill it, just as long as the cripple the EPA budget at the same time.
