Damn. The consequences to the innocent bystanders can be awful. I hope you didn't lose your job because of him.

I didn't *lose* my job because of him. I eventually went to work for a different company because of not liking the relationship I had with the manager of the parent office. The guy had a lot to do with it, but there were other things as well.

You know what I didn't like about him first?

There were a couple things.

For one, he was too slick. Too clever. He smelled like slime from the start.

For another, I noticed that he had dumped his ashtray out on the parking lot next to his car. I smoke, but I don't like people who do those kinds of things. They seem remakably inconsiderate to me.

I had enough information to go on. I should have said no,
