[history]
The painless procedure barely lasted 15 minutes. In his South Florida office, Dr. Harvey Kleiner applied a local anesthetic above the tricep of my right arm, then he inserted a thick needle deep under the skin.
''First we locate a prime spot,'' he said. ''The next thing is to release the button that triggers the injection mechanism, and that's it, the cargo's been delivered.''

They'll put one in me. My dead body, that is.

I guess I'll be among the people that will eventually be a fugitive for not having one.

What was wrong with the good old-fashioned technique of simply tattooing numbers on people's arms?

Makes you wonder if people are deliberately blind. How can they not see or care where this is leading?

Amazing. The seeds of prophetic fulfillment right before our eyes. No one will buy or sell without the mark, eh?
No thanks, I'll not be taking one. Gotta stock up on the storage and keep the bartering arrangments in order ... er, just in case of course.

Ultimately, the company hopes to be able to track the movement of people with chips worldwide using global positioning satellites. How Orwellian.

(though it appears some Israeli secret service agents already carry something similar) That would be a dumb move. "Hey, Ahmed, that guy over there, he's registering on our detectors!"

ADSX is currently trading at under $0.40. Yes 40 cents. btw, this technology has been around a while and they are/were being sued by IBM over it. don't remember the outcome of this litigation, but I suspect it drove the company down to the penny stock level from its $15 high in 2k.

This was predicted when they started id-chipping pets....for their safety, you know....so you could find them when they ran away, and other benign reasons like that.

I have great concern over this issue of barcoding people.
Many are unaware that the barcoding is bracketed into two sections, that the three brackets are two thin parallel lines and represent a number. There are a total of three sets of these parallel lines and thus three numbers.
The numerical symbol for two parallel lines is "6". Every barcode therefore has "666" in its makeup.
I can't remember exactly the Bible's phrasing but I remember it says that you cannot buy or sell without this mark of the beast, and that its number is "666".

Spooky. I mean it. Really really spooky.
No thanks. I will NOT be receiving mine, thank you.

Where are all the "tin-foil" taunts that regularly appeared a few years ago whenever a post appeared about the "Digital Angel"?
To: BamaGal
They can see it. This is propaganda.

Actually, I like the idea as long as I also get a monitor that tells me where I am after one of my late night booze binges.
