[history]
Selling shoes
Another loser working in a shopping mall
9 to 5
A slave driver telling me "Get on the ball!"
A crowded store
I kneel before them
Misery beyond compare
Sweaty socks
A lady boxer
What's she got against fresh air?
I want an ocean and some sunscreen lotion
Take me to the beach with a thousand pretty girls in reach
I, I, I wanna be a lifeguard (help,help,help,help)
I, I, I wanna guard your life
I, I, I wanna be a lifeguard (lifeguard, lifeguard)
Hardly any clothes (lifeguard)
Sand between my toes (lifeguard)
White stuff on my nose
Selling shoes
Another loser working in a shopping mall
I'm getting fat
What does it matter?
Nobody cares at all
But next July, I'll say goodbye to every out-of-it, dull-witted fool
Convert their feet into meters, marking distance at the swimming pool
Summer blondes revealing tanlines
I'll make more moves than Allied Van Lines
I, I, I wanna be a lifeguard (be a big man, now...get a great tan, now)
I, I, I wanna guard your life
I, I, I wanna be a lifeguard (lifeguard, lifeguard)
Sitting on my chair (lifeguard)
In the salty air (lifeguard)
White stuff on my nose
I, I, I wanna be a lifeguard (help,help,help,help)
I, I, I wanna guard your life
I, I, I wanna be a lifeguard (lifeguard, lifeguard)
Lounging on the deck (lifeguard)
Whistle 'round my neck (lifeguard)
White stuff in my nose
I, I, I wanna be a lifeguard (lifeguard, lifeguard)

Look if you turds are going to be jumping in our punchbowl you could at least try and make sense while doing it.
To just ramble like idiots only confirms what we think about you.

When you quote Molly Ivans, it's like you have a turd on your face.

And Bill. Those two are perpetually steaming but the rats are blind to it because they idolize them.
Then again I suppose you could say you are what you worship which would explain a lot about the left.
To: the gillman@blacklagoon.com
Bush himself we don't have much cause to fear. But the complaint isn't so much about Bush as about the direction he is leading things. If a (fill in the blank with a Rat) steps into Bush's shoes, what could he or she do with the Bush precedents?

You are right. To explain the conditions and causes of Hitler's rise to power is not to excuse him. Since dictators rarely - if ever - rise to power without outside factors, I would argue that it is
imperative that we stidy these causes, so that we may learn from them and avoid them.
I also did not see the miniseries (I'm tired of watching WWII fought ad nauseum) but I wondered how it treated the issue of WWI reparations. If I correctly recall my history, after the Great War, Germany was willing to pay reparations (or a fine, or whatever you want to call it), and pre-negotiations between Germany and the victorious allies had established the amount. At the last minute, France drastically increasedd the amount, out of nothing more that spite.
Germany tried to pay it but was unable, resulting in a ruined economy and a lot of people in poverty, which led, inevitably, to civil disorder and strife. They needed a unifying force who could fix things.
Those are the conditions that brought on Hitler.
To recognize that is not to excuse Hitler. However, it is historically inaccurate, and does a great disservice to the German people, to say that a madman rose out of nowhere and came to power because he preached hatred of Jews.

You know, usually I complain that dissenting posters get their ZOT way too quickly. I typically prefer that the mods let the stick around so we can have a nice little back-and-forth... but in this case, I'm wondering why you lasted so long.

Uncanny...
At what age were you separated?

There are two ISPs that 90% of all the trolls come in on. These ISPs offer accounts where the user can create new email addresses at will. They aren't particularly big ISPs, either. So it is pretty clear that we are dealing with only a person or two (or one or two groups of people working together).
Been there done that with the letting them have a little back and forth. It just doesn't happen- that isn't the goal of whoever it is. His goal is to basically just waste people's time. He fancies himself some sort of internet demigod, who has not realized that through the wonders of intent dyslexia he merely makes our job tremendously easier.
