Is this the same G Jarrett from KGO-AM radio in SF? He was a reporter during Desert Storm and a friend/colleague of Lee Rodgers, before KGO purged its conservatives to hire future NPR freaks (unknowns like Malveaux, Krassney, Ward, Taliafaro, ad nauseum)..

I've wondered the same thing. I recently heard the Greg Jarrett on KGO, so it can't be the same guy.

He committed suicide several years ago. I remember Lee Rodgers announcing it at the time. There's a short bio at www.as.ucsb.edu/kcsb/history.html, which is about another station he once worked at.
