Tancredo for President! I'll contribute to that.

I didn't hear this for myself and I thought Hutchinson's views on illegals was different from this. I'm sad to hear this.
You know the thing that mystifies me is that Bush had to deal with the problem of illegals as Governor of Texas, so how can he be so indifferent to this problem or worse, so Pro-illegals?? I just don't understand.
It's one thing to worry about terrorists being among those crossing the border or coming through airports, and another to worry about the entire problem of illegals - Mexican or Arab, wherever they come into this Country. Yikes.
CLOSE OUR SOUTHERN AND NORTHERN BORDERS NOW!!

Tancredo for President! I know so many people who wish he'd run for the Republican nomination in 2004, including me.

"Tancredo for President"?
I wish....I wish that Representative Tancredo would find a contingent of influential people, from inside and outside of politics, who would go the third party route, with the intent of winning on this issue, not the usual "sway the major parties" nonsense we get from third parties.
This issue's a winner. Yet neither party wants to stop the cheap labor and the votes they think it gets them. This just demonstrates how clueless and detached they have become from real US citizens. A majority care about securing the borders, US jobs for US citizens, not giving up our freedoms for a security we can't have with porous borders, stabilizing our population, culture, economy, and environment.
"Tancredo for President" is a nice thought. Does your guy have a plan to win? If not, these sentiments are a waste of our time, hopes, and money. And, I really don't believe we have much time beyond 2004 if these situations will be reversed.
