I left a broadcast on the NJ Locale last night to introduce a friend, new to FR, americanexcel. His brother is in the middle of an unfortunate divorce/child custody battle. The details of which are pretty much irrelevant to the discussion. What I found interesting enough to bring to FR was a situation with DYFS and court appointed 'experts'.

DYFS is involved and "lost" all the files in reference to this case. The judge appointed a mental health expert to evaluate who receives custody. This I found to be another point of interest. The judge appointed mental health expert is a 'psychologist' not a psychiatrist. This psychologist charges $300 per hour and will be billing the state of NJ. BUT, state employeed MDs and DOs aren't paid $300 per hour.

So how does one get a cushy job as a 'court appointed' expert to bill the state of NJ? And why not use a state employee that is already in the expert field to avoid such outragious fees?

And DYFS? losing files? Do they work for the Clintons or something?
