A Kuwait Airways airplane is refuelled at Baghdad International Airport on Sunday, May 18, 2003.The aircraft is the first commercial airliner to land in Baghdad Airport after the US-led war on Iraq (news - web sites) and the first Kuwait Airways plane arriving to Iraq since Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1990.

The flight carried humanitarian aid, a delegation from Kuwait Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a team to investigate the fate of more than 600 Kuwaiti POW from the first Gulf War
