"But the Mayor's spokesman says guns cause crime."

That would make the Mayor of the District of Columbia a criminal associate, wouldn't it?

I bet the barber doesn't get charged. Ironic how the thug had a gun, when it's against the law in DC.....Typical!

I bet it was the pork sandwich. They make me desire mayhem and other people's property too!

But...

Sara Brady (et all) tells me guns are bad and that the professionals trained to handle dangerous situations are a mere 911 call away.

It's D.C. The guy's in tight with the city apparatchiks. He'll get off. Just like Rowan. The law is for the other guys.

Too bad the barber wasn't a good shot. The creep didn't get hit and the dog didn't rip his throat out. So much for justice in Socialist Washington D.C.

Hmm, since this is D.C., the barber will be arrested not only for having a gun, but for interfering with a robbery.

Interfering with the livelihood of criminals is a felony in D.C. The barber will have to surrender his shop to the robber, and wil probably do 15-20 for the interference charge.

It is wrong to oppose crime, because it is society's fault, you see.

What humors me is the article says the DC code "effectively" prohibits anyone except for law enforcement to carry hand guns.

This just points out the need for gun control. If the barber had better control, he would have dropped the sucker.

If the barber had better control, he would have dropped the sucker.

His fingers were probably still cramped from using those clipping scissors.

If you're interested, you can help stop a crime from being inflicted upon other productive citizens by some sleazy Baathist Ithaca officials.
