why don't you get a Danish SA/SG with VAR barrel from our club and start competing in the John C. Garand matches?????

the price is only about 400 bucks, plus shipping.

while shooter2.5 would DIS-agree, the garand is FAR superior to the M14 in maximum EFFECTIVE range,overall quality,speed of loading & shooting from the prone position.

i just cannot get comfortable with that 20 round mag, sticking out the bottom, when shooting the M14 off a mat.

the ONLY PROTECTED weapons under the SECOND AMENDMENT are MILITIA WEAPONS; it's NOT about hunting DUCKS!

Do you guys hold your JCG match on his birthday? You oughta bring that possibility up with your club.

You seen this interesting article and FReeppost on CMP Garands? It seems there are sometimes some surprises to be had in the bunch.
