Just the header, read the article at the newsstand
Said that Laura and Dubya had called a family conference with the First Twins and said that there are to be no more wild college parties and both will be required to live in Washington for the summer and perhaps longer if another incident gets into the press. (as long as they are recieving college money)
The article did not say whether Barbara the younger would then commute to Yale or Jenna would transfer to Maryland U.

In that sense, the Bush family is not that different than a lot of families these days, with some temporary bad apples in the bunch. Which one of us hear have not heard of a bad family member that can or could bring embarrassment.
Hope they get it settled soon.

This story can be found in numerous places on the internet but you have chosen to go with the Natl Enquirer because that way no one can actually read it. The story does not match the headline. Its dishonest and so are you.

I think Laura has a right to tell them that as long as they are getting a free edcation that they have to abide by the 'house rules.'
Im sure going home to live with Mom and Dad would be embarassing beyond words for both girls..

IMHO, too many peopleon this forum will 'ambulance-chase' at the slightest word of some trouble with Chelsea Clinton, yet turn a blind eye re: Gov. Bush's daughter's embarrassing mug shots and standing before a Florida judge.
Hang in there, I think you are being objective and a good Freeper, and not falling for the old 'double-standard', traits which are in essence intellectual honesty. I would expect the same from more 'conservatives' out there, but I guess not.
I personally think Daddy has a couple of spoiled college brats in their rebellious phase, that perhaps need some good family counseling and a trip by Dad to the woodshed, verbally or figurately, might straighten out. Whatever.

Where is the story?
To: AmericanInTokyo
I think the Twins have been given two strikes and any responsible parent would call them home if it happens again.
Given the immense media pressure involved , I think that this is again an example of good parenting by Laura and Dubya.

I don't know why people are getting hot/bothered on this thread and attacking you. You seem to make a lot of sense. And you are fair and balanced and objective, and apparantly not jaded by overly prejudiced Republican-centricism.

Eureka. Maybe Bush has finally found the weapon of mass destruction that is destroying America. How about bombing the countries that are drugging America? Or it's party time for dope heads - which shall it be?

Throwing down the "you'll do as I say or we'll cut you off" gauntlet could backfire on the First Family.
If the twins stand up to daddy and do get cut off, they could easily earn their own keep and move in the same circles as they do now....they are a very employable commodity for many media/enterainment/marketing outlets.

That is the third link you have posted on this thread and still no story/article.

Watch them end up on "Girls Gone Wild, Doggy Style 2", lol.

Double standards is a phenomenon attractive to probably every living human being from time to time (self included). its hard to point out dirt when it shoes up on 'our side'.
Hooray for 'our side' anyway.

I believe you have to subscribe. I think this magazine is available, even for you down there in Texas.
If not, pick it up at the newstand.
I don't think you expect ewing to go out and buy a scanner and/or transcrible fully to the FR, do you? Maybe a synopsis would work by one of us who picks up this week's issue.

If you look at the archives you'll see that I have vehemently defended Chelsea on several Chelsea-bashing threads. I think the attacks against Chelsea are the worst face that conservatives can possibly show. These attacks against Noelle, Lauren, Barbara, and Jenna by the left and the malcontents are the worst also. An election year is on the way, I guess it's time to go after the kids again.
