Did anyone happen to be watching FoxNews earlier when General Thomas McInerney was talking about a possible military conflict with North Korea? It was a thing of beauty! He essentially warned Kim Jong-il that he would face the same fate as Saddam Hussein if he were to engage the US militarily. He predicted that the US would take out the entire North Korean regime in about the same amount of time .... 30-60 days, but did warn that the conflict would be intense. Could it be that in a few short years, the axis of evil will be a thing of the past?!?!

Yes I am... I came into tonight thinking that Jiggy could well get another shutout. It's all about the psychology of hockey. The Wild aren't out of this yet being down 2-1 after 2 periods. I'm pulling for the Wild .... only because I can't stand Eisner & Company, but I think it's soon to be a lock for the Ducks and Devils.

Kim just doesn't know when to shut up. You'd think he'd be trying to lay low and not attract any attention to his country. I honestly think that he would be easier to take out than Saddam as he doesn't have the weaponry or wealth that Iraq had. But on the other side, he might have more loyalty from his citizenry.

By the way, did you notice that all of the goals scored tonight (2 by Adam Oates and 1 by Andrew Brunette) were by former Caps... You can take all of the former Caps and have one hell of a team!
