um...the sticky things don't work for some gals. heavy sigh.

What color was your dress? My niece went to her junior/senior prom last weekend and my sister emailed the pictures. What girls are wearing to proms now amaze me. More skin and less dress. When I was in high school we actually wore material. HAHA

I made sure I was tied in very well. I was not going to be bouncing around. :)

My dress was silver and had glitter on the bodice and went down the front at an angle.

I must admit that the girls at my high school were known for shoing A LOT of skin at our dances, but I must say that I was impressed at my Sr. prom. All the girls were very classy. There were a lot of arms and some backs showing, but it wasn't anything compared to our homecoming that year. Some of the girls could've showed up in their bkinis and would've had more material on.

Chiming in late....

For my jr. prom, I had my mom make mine.

It was a purple taffeta top (with silver polka dots) and the bottom was silver lemay with purple/black lace over the top of it.
The cool part was the keyhole in the back of it, lined in silver lemay.

It was a Maigrey/Maigrey's Mom original.....

I've always had a penchant for more cloth than less (in most public cases.....)
