Estrich's Anti-Clinton Column Spiked

A column urging Bill and Hillary Clinton to leave the national stage so that Democratic presidential candidates won't have to labor in their shadow has apparently been spiked by news editors who regularly carry Hillary's Creators Syndicate essays.
A LexisNexis search Friday morning turned up not a single published version of the Estrich screed, in which the liberal Democratic operative implored the Clintons to "shut up" and predicted that Hillary would never be president.
Still, millions of Americans learned of Estrich's analysis from Rush Limbaugh, who spent several segments of his top-rated radio talk show on Thursday discussing Estrich's bombshell remarks.
Fox News Channel hosts Sean Hannity and John Gibson also gave Estrich, a regular contributor to the top-rated cable news channel, TV airtime to explain her concerns.
By Friday, after it became apparent that no mainstream print outlet had carried the controversial column, Limbaugh publicly protested the media censorship.
"Nowhere on the Internet can you find Susan Estrich's column from yesterday," he told his audience. "Now, that just doesn't happen - a column to be spiked everywhere."
"I'm sure Susan's still scratching her head," Limbaugh added. "What have I got to do? I write a column, I send it out and on this one column, everybody that runs it spikes it."

I am glad the column was spiked because spiking made the column itself a news event. Drudge linked it, so I saw it there and read every delightful word. The column is definitely NOT anti-Clinton, just realistic. If I loved Clinton and worked for him and his beastly wife, I would say the same thing. The Borgia-Clintons are overshadowing everyone, raising the ire and morale of Republicans everywhere.
Thank you Bill. Thank you Lady Macbeth. Thank you Susan Estrogenbitch for calling Monica the Queen of BJ's.
Only Nixon could go to China. Only Susan could call Monica the Queen of BJ's. I can die in peace. Thank you.

To the average dummy, merely speaking the truth is considered to be evil. Remember how upset they all got when Christopher Hitchens revealed that Sid Vicious Blumenthal was lying about the questions asked by the grand jury? Hell hath no fury like a dummy confronted by the truth...

I agree COMPLETELY with the rampant excerpting going on, with the exception of the LAT/WP fiasco.
I've so far chalked it up to these reasons:
1. Too lazy to add all those < p>'s / format and/or don't know how to "view source"
2. Don't care.
I have pop-up blockers so pop-ups aren't one of my concerns, but what about people who don't? And what about those cookie-grabbers?
Often, when the excerpt doesn't grab me, I don't even bother to read the rest of the article. If the poster doesn't care enough to post it (i.e. show what's important), why should I care enough to read it somewhere else? I come to FR to read news/etc all in one place.

You're a mean one, Susan E.
You really are a heel.
You're as cuddly as a cactus,
You're as charming as an eel.
Susan E.
You're a bad banana
With a greasy black peel.
You're a monster, Susan E.
Your heart's an empty hole.
Your brain is full of spiders,
You've got garlic in your soul.
Susan E.
I wouldn't touch you, with a
thirty-nine-and-a-half foot pole.
You're a vile one, Susan E.
You have termites in your smile.
You have all the tender sweetness
Of a seasick crocodile.
Susan E.
Given the choice between the two of you
I'd take the seasick crockodile.
You're a foul one, Susan E.
You're a nasty, wasty skunk.
Your heart is full of unwashed socks
Your soul is full of gunk.
Susan E.
The three words that best describe you,
are, and I quote: "Stink. Stank. Stunk."
You're a rotter, Susan E.
You're the king of sinful sots.
Your heart's a dead tomato splot
With moldy purple spots,
Susan E.

We need a list of the papers in which Estrich's column normally appears.
Then we need to write to each individual newspaper -- politely -- asking why her column did not appear in their paper.
Anyone have such a list?

You are welcome. I am sure Susan reads this page. She probably laughed too. I disagree with all of her positions but I admire her willingness to tell the truth.

I know we all have had our complaints against Susan - especially when she was so supportive of x42 during impeachment. However, this action about her story is just plain censorship and bias on the part of the CLINTON DEMOCRATS.
Also ... since before we went to war, it was Susan who was on FOX stating that the dems were wrong for opposing the war. She said it over and over; the dems never got it. Then recently, when the dems started in about the aircraft carrier landing, it was Susan, again, who went on FOX and told the dems they were making a big mistake.
Yeah, I don't agree with her stand on x42 and Hitlery - and I don't agree with her that the repubs impeached x42 over sex in the oval office - and I have told these things and even sent her a list of the 248 crimes x42 committed during his 8 years.
However, what the media has done to her column should scare the hell out of all of us. If x42 and his goons have that much power over the media (except FOX), then the world is in a sorry state. I think somebody here on FR who knows which papers her column regularly appears in should put the list on FR. Then ... we need to email the hell out of these people for not printing her column.
Remember ... if this can happen to her - how much more will we be subjected to this treatment. Think about it!!

They still have plenty of power and plenty of union goons and Estrich had better get her bags packed. Obviously, the media spike hasn't worked.
To: FreepShop
Your reasons are ignorant! Susan has contracts for certain newspapers to run her column. What on earth does that have to do with "family friendly" anything ...??
And ... by the way, since you just got here YESTERDAY, your comments smearing Susan are waaaaaaaay out of line!!

As post # 28 pointed out, it was posted here yesterday from the St. Pete's Times, but today it's gone. I just went to their website where it was posted yesterday, and this is what I got:

So it wasn't just spiked, it was thrown down the memory hole.
