Too bad, Austin is worse than Eugene. Now that's LEFT..... Eeek! No! That's frightening. Eugene is just 'screwy' X 10. When I lived there, Austin was partially screwy, but somewhat balanced the farther you travelled from the West Mall. At least Austin doesn't have a bronze statue of Lenin (ie. Fremont/Seattle, Washington). But it does have Molly Ivins.
Seattle recently had a charity event where the city displayed painted pigs around the city. Austin could have ceramic casts of Ivins and do the same.
