That is the most important fact of the whole story.

Le Pen hates Jews as much as he does Muslims, I trust this guy as far as I can spit.

Le Pen has also identified himself as a socialist.

Mouloud Aounit, the president of MRAP, said: "We expect justice to hit her hard. We need a ruling which will dissuade and prevent her from making further outbursts."

Darn, that's tough. It is not like she was eating at McDonalds or something.

She says that gays are fairground freaks, teachers arrive at work with greasy hair wearing disgusting jeans and muddy trainers, and that "the professional unemployed" don't even want to work illegally.

Wow she has transformed from physical hottie to conservative hottie.

By the way, I was under the impression that Le Pen's National Front counts as members many harkis (Algerian Moslems who had taken the French side in the Algerian War, and who had to flee Algeria) and Jewish pieds noirs (refugees from Algeria), and that Le Pen welcomed their membership.

France is a lost cause anyway, it really doesn't matter who's in charge there. Chirac or Le Pen or Pepe Le Pew, France will always be a toilet.

Their problem is they dream about the good old days when they were a world power.

Talk about your long memories....... Ms Bardot is a microcosm of France, over the hill and bitter about it.

Let me know if you find a French politician who has any redeeming qualities. I've not been able to find one. The last French leader I had any respect for was Mitterand, who seemed to get along nicely with conservatives in the U.S., Britain and Germany. Characteristically for the French, he called himself a socialist but in practice wasn't much of one. Kinda like Chirac calling himself a rightist.

Mitterand???? This is the same guy that said the holocaust in Rwanda was "no big deal." The guy was a pig.

I really admire Brigitte Bardot. After the shallowness of Hollywood, she devoted herself to animal welfare, working tirelessly, selflessly, and spending her money on caring for the vulnerable. She reminds me of Tippi Hendren who similarly turned from a Hollywood value-less society to working for more meaningful causes.

The guy was a pig.

Well, that's about the best the French can do. He died a very happy man, with both his wife and mistress attending the funeral.

Problem is it's too late. Someday our leftists will also realize the freedoms here are gone and it will be too late. Liberals learn too slowly ---California is a very good example ---they still don't know.

Where can I get the good lady's book in English? Bardot and Waterman fountain pens are about the only decent things to come out of France.

The term "right-wing", interestingly enough, originates in the seating of the French Assembly several hundred years ago. So that Pen can be truly "right-wing," that is, reflective of the views of the French Nobility of that time, and be completely non-conservative in the American sense of preserving the American Revolution and the values for which it was fought.
