The killing was not only senseless, but quite savage. Peterson, assuming he's guilty could very well have been on drugs at the time, then cleaned it up afterwards. If not, then this was no crime of passion, but the work of a psycho who got pleasure out his crime.

Actually, killers who "overkill" their victim generally know their victim quite well. All the anger they've been harboring against this person explodes in the killing. IF what the defense is claiming is true, I don't think Scott needed to be on drugs to do it. He had plenty of anger and resentment to fuel him.

Exactly what I said to my husband this is NOT a crime of passion or a husband wanting to rid his spouse. I read that it is a cultist base killing. When I heard Conner was cut out of Laci, I for the first time that not even Scott did that!
