How incredibly sad when one gives up all hope.True, but what a fortunate man to have had a woman who loved him so much. Life without love is so useless.

True, but having experienced that love, for many the thing that love teaches you is that even when it ends because of the death of another, there is hope it will occur again. History supposedly repeats itself, after all.
Hope is the operative word though.
Who knows why some can seemingly endure things that'd make Job's struggles seem like a temporary pesky situation yet continue to strive for a better life?
What becomes that final straw that makes somebody think that suicide is better therapy than a nap?
Sad.
Being a widow is never easy. But, for most, it isn't fatal.
