"Spare me your justification and your excuses. Bush increased spending by 15% - even more so than Clinton. So much for smaller government. Of course you pretend it to be some secret plan to draw out "dims." "

Reagan increased spending 45%

Did he suck too?

George W. Bush has made America proud again. Parents no longer have to be embarrassed to point out the White House to their children.

Clinton-loving poseurs like you are so transparent it's funny. Pop over from Scumbag Underground didja?

By the way, you forgot to post that you will "never vote for Bush again", LOFL.

If you posted this DREK in hopes of getting an argument from me, you lose. I think it's a rubbish article, and I don't have the inclination to do anything with you except call your post DREK.

I have more respect for Southern Baptists than to give serious attention to anything Pastor Chuck says.

*Bush is likely to invoke Executive Privilege in order to continue the cover-up about what he and other top government leaders knew prior to the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Some thirty days prior to the attacks, Bush reportedly received a CIA Intelligence Report which warned, "The attack will be spectacular and designed to inflict mass casualties against U.S. facilities or interests. Attack preparations have been made. Attack will occur with little or no warning." More details are leaking out almost daily.

This paragraph is a shameless smear job.

Bush is quite media savvy. He has convinced you people that he is conservative and you are conservative although he says things like Campaign Finance Reform is unconstitutional and signs it anyway. He has no principles. The Farm Bill was reminiscent of Soviet-style collectivism and Bush supported it 100% - you remind me of the Clinton defenders.

Well why not add a few of the lies in these articles to your site?

Wasn't partial birth abortion signed into law by this President?

Wasn't it this President who cut off UN abortion funding?

Wasn't it this President who said no to Kyoto?

Wasn't it this President who said no to the World Court?

Wasn't it this President who defied the UN and did what needed doing anyway?

Isn't it up to Congress, the congress controlled by Republicans to let die the assault weapons ban?

I could go on, but why?

This article was full of lies. These lies coming from someone who claims to be a "Christian" baring false witness against another.

He pointed out how Bush was no different than a liberal democrat. You are whining. He's making sense. You'll defend anything the guy does.

Well said on your part as well. Anyone who thinks everything is simple one dimensional logic with the President is a fool. That's why they always come away from any confrontation looking like the simpletons they are.

'toon isn't the President any longer, but for some reason certain individuals can't seem to come to grips with that.

Realpolitic isn't what we would want in a purely conservative government, but until the Dems are recognized as the communists/socialists that they really are we have to be somewhat incremental. What would really suck is for idiots like this guy to succeed in bringing down the vote in 2004 and enable someone like The Ankle to become the Pres. I don't know who would be hunted down first - liberals or the real jackasses like this nutcase 'pastor'. It's high time that folks understand that the Rats are playing for keeps now - should they come to power again, our nation is finished. Eternally. That's why we all have to stick together and keep them out of power. No, I'll still disagree sometimes on the issues, but my vote will always be with the GOP. To demand certain conditions on such issues before they play out for real in order to keep my vote is beyond childish in my eyes.

Republican_Strategist: You're either with us, or you're with the Rats. Your choice. Either climb down off of the delusional soapbox, or STFU.

In 1985 the church was recognized by President Ronald Reagan for its unusual growth and influence.

Not really that solid an argument. Tony Campolo has an impressive size following, and he was quite the Clinton apologist. The leader of a group seeking to remove all religious references from anything remotely associated with government is a former pastor. A lot can change in 18 years, and clergy tend to come from the emotional decision-making temperament(F on Meyers-Briggs). Many followers of Jesus, including religious leaders, were disappointed when he didn't enact their dreams in their ways, failing to set up an earthly kingdom. Perhaps Mr. Baldwin is expecting the wrong things from the wrong person.

Or consider another example. "Manna, manna, manna, all we have is manna. We are tired of manna. Why were we led into the wilderness to die? We are thirsty, why doesn't MosesBush strike the rock and give us water?"

I was a republican. I started listening to Joseph Farah and taking to heart that I wasn't living up to my principles.

The only trash is where you have so-called conservatives supporting a phony conservative (Bush's compassionate conservatism was coined by a Marxist) and when someone points out his liberal policies - you scream and demand censorship.

Such as that the CIA saw Islamonut blither like this almost all the time. GWB was not to blame for this; Clinton was.

I could go on, but why?

You could add 'parted the Red Sea' to your list and it wouldn't matter to some.

They would probably say that he didn't do it fast enough.

>>In other words, Bush proposes to send federal dollars to those organizations that promote abortion and promiscuity.<<

Can you see the fallacy in his argument? The fact that Bush didn't agree to restrict the money to programs that reject abortion and promote abstinence DOES NOT MEAN Bush PROPOSES to send money to those organizations that PROMOTE abortion and promiscuity.

He earmarked funds to fight aids; I am sure he had very good reasons for not agreeing to these limitations. He's a smart man and as we've seen in the past, a method always exists behind the seeming madness.

(To my mind, I do not see what promoting promiscuity and abortion even have to do with fighting aids.)

Either the author uses fallacious reasoning because he thinks we are stupid, or he is stupid and doesn't know any better.

Wrong. I do NOT whine. Ever.

Baldwin is a "doom and gloomer." NOTHING satisfies his self-absorbed brand of "conservatism." He is the poster child for those who hate conservatives. Worse than Gary Bauer.

By the way, your Democrat-soundbite tag line was stale two months ago; it is exactly the kind of juvenile sarcasm one expects from the likes of Michael Moore. Congratulations.
