LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - John F. Kennedy snorted cocaine with actor Peter Lawford while the two stayed at Frank Sinatra's Palm Springs house in the late 1950s, according to an excerpt from a tell-all book written by Sinatra's former valet.

Writing about the close friendship between Sinatra and the future U.S. president, George Jacobs said that although the Rat Pack singer knew of Kennedy's weakness for women -- and went so far as to arrange liaisons for him -- he would not have approved of his drug use.

The liberal Reuters is reporting this? I guess JFK support of tax cuts must need to be undermined.

Gee! Do ya think maybe he was a scumbag?

Naw, if that were true, the powers that be would have had him assassinated.

It still makes me chuckle the way the liberal media, to this day, continues to portray JFK as a "Christ figure".

Big difference between "youthful indescretions" and snorting Coke in THE WHITE HOUSE as leader of the free world.

He was a boozer. If he experimented allot, there would have been much more than one discredited college chum story.

At the time, cocaine was not yet in vogue for college kids. It was MJ and heroin. Cocaine was for dirtballs and was known as a cheap high with no class. Anyone ho was somebody or white did not indulge.

Snortin' coke and shaggin' the interns is the new "Greatest Presidents" legacy.

"I believe the JFK 'allegation' took place while he was a senator - but your point is well taken, he was in a position of power - and GW (if he did) was a frat boy enjoying his salad days."

A lot of people did things in their youth that they regret. No reason to hold that against them decades later. There is a reason why there is a minimum age to be president.

THINK! Who has a book coming out soon? Who would want people to think that you can be a great President and still do cocaine and interns?

Impossible to believe the valet didn't inform Sinatra of cocaine use in his house, especially in light of RFK going after the mob and Sinatra friend Sam Giancana. Besides, Sinatra had many falling-outs with Lawford.

I heard the Kennedy boys smoked pot in High School. And that JFK took acid trips with his (later murdered) artist-mistress, Mary Pinchot Meyer (who hung with Timothy Leary).
Really, between all this (and the revelations of JFK's VD, and of his mistresses connected with the mob and East German spies) - Willie is starting to look more angelic. I think that this is all part of a Bill whitewash effort.
