My sister has been doing everything she can to assist and help her son cope. He did just say "daddy" two weeks ago but seeing this first hand is certainly scary. He currently is getting attention at Children's Hospital in Oakland and I am hoping this helps the family learn and grow. My sister is a 15 year cancer survivor so I know she has the fortitude and medical acumen to guide the family through the system.

I'll be honest with you. It's a long, rough road ahead. My brother died when Aaron was five years old. He's thirteen now and a handful. My sister-in-law moved to Massachussetts thinking they had better resources, but she was wrong. I hope your sister has a very good and loving support system.
