Bush Scoring Soccer Moms, Dems Making Fools of Themselves
May 13, 2003
One of the reasons Democrats are angry about this aircraft carrier landing is that the soccer moms have fled the Democrats and they're all a-tizzy over the way Bush looks in a flight suit. Lisa Schiffren, a conservative columnist, wrote a whole piece in the Wall Street Journal the other day, where she basically comes right out and says she wanted to rip that flight suit right off Dubya.
Yet, here are the Democrats making a big to-do over the carrier landing. Meanwhile, Patrick Leahy proudly displays himself in a flight suit on his own website, and not one media outlet sees fit to call attention to it or ask other Democrats about it. Matt Drudge posted it on his website and so it looks like this Drudge guy is really way ahead of everybody, but the truth is that the elite guardians of the mainstream press would see that Leahy photo and not even see the newsworthiness of it, even though they are the ones acting as willing accomplices with the Democrats on raising hell about Bush's carrier landing, which is a non-story. All that adds up to is pure, unadulterated sour grapes. The Democrats don't have one person who could pull this off with credibility, including John F. Kerry, who if I'm not mistaken, served in Vietnam. Of course, I'm being facetious. He only tells us in one out of every two statements.
The Democrats are all a bunch of Michael Dukakis, Beetle Bailey types. And why? It's not the way they look. It's that on balance, the modern Democratic Party is full of left-wing wacko groups that look at the U.S. military as the great evil, as the great threat to world peace, and they've made no bones about it. So to see a Democrat landing on an aircraft carrier in a flight suit, praising the men and women of the U.S. military just wouldn't fly in most people's minds because they know the Democrats don't believe this and it would be utter hypocrisy.
The reason it works with Bush comes back to the fact that he's genuine. To a man and woman in the U.S. military, they are honored he is their commander-in-chief and on that aircraft carrier they were thrilled that he showed up to thank them. The real story here is not that Bush did the landing. The real story is not that Bush looks good in a flight suit. The real story is that each time the Democrats criticize him for it they lose respect and they lose strength within the military ranks, which include military voters, in this country and around the world. People have not forgotten that it was the Algore campaign, i.e., the Democrats back in Florida 2000 that were doing everything they could to discount absentee overseas military ballots.
Come on folks, is having Henry Waxman the front man on this the best the Democratic Party can do? They're making fools of themselves, digging themselves an even deeper hole, and, frankly, it's a joy to see

Face it, He's hot.
He's what a president should be: focused, truthful, risk-taker, leader, brave, reverent, strong willed and smart, brings on board the best and the brightest and lets them develop ideas based upon his goals, honorable, and lastly, American, not some Third Way Socialist Parvenu.

He is hot; he looks absolutely fine in a pair of jeans. Tight, masculine backside. And even through his loose fitting t-shirts you can see that his pecs are still high and pretty firm. No excess flesh around them.
One of the biggest turn offs possible is seeing a man who looks like he'll be needing or already needs a bra. Ick!!!

Exactly right. I knew someone was going to post that picture, so thanks, it's always good to be reminded of the difference between a man and a boy.
You'll have to forgive me for conjuring up such a spectre, but can you imagine how disgusting clinton looks naked? Between him and his wife it's a white out with purple undertones. Both are ugly inside and out!

Does anyone have a picture of Leahy to compare it to GW?

Last weekend at our extended family gathering for Mother's Day, my sister-in-law and her husband announced they're abandoning the Democratic party! They used to be staunch Demos. The final straw was hearing the Demo party criticism of Bush landing on the carrier. They're thoroughly disgusted with the Demo leadership!
Thank God for President Bush!

These brain dead voters would have given us 8 years of JFK Jr. cause he is hunky, and will switch to rodham in enough numbers to make it interesting. I won't celebrate the fact that this segment of the voting population seems uninterested in learning about issues, and respond to flight suits, lip biting, and the Lifetime Movie of the Week.

I admit, he's very attractive, but somehow I just don't conjure up the "hots" for him. It's like mooning over my own uncle or something...ICK!!
My boss is also considered "hot" by a lot of women in our company, but again, it's almost incestuous for me to think about him "that way".

"the soccer moms have fled the Democrats and they're all a-tizzy over the way Bush looks in a flight suit"Evidently the appeal of a great man is not confined to admiration of his honor, integrity, intelligence, brilliance, and leadership ability. On the other hand, perhaps these virtues have universal appeal, and once they are recognized prove irresistable.

NO COMPARISON!
Our President looks distinguished even in a flightsuit not to mention he looked great in it. He's just a good guy and the world knows it. They are just not used to having such a good guy in the White House...at least recently.

Bet there was a big applause from everyone. Tell them "Welcome Aboard." :)
