I now live in his new district the judges gave us. He wanted my area so he could get him a nice new house near the airport. He is about the lowest form of humanity on earth and so are his supporters.

I worked for his defeat in 2000 and his merry band of thugs stole a yard sign out of my yard. My precinct and area went heavily for his underfunded opponent.

You are right, Ed Harrison had him beat in 94 until Stop Six came to the rescue. I think this stinks. The areas of South Fort Worth control the entire district.

Is there any doubt that these people would be dictators if they got the chance? They care only about power and winning, not the integrity of the process and playing by the rules.

Joe Moreno is on the radio right now (950 AM Houston) and Chris Baker is nailing him. Chris says he is disappointed that the state's business is not getting done. Moreno is saying one side wants to do redistricting, and one side (his side) wants to get their MORE IMPORTANT business done. Moreno says that he doesn't want this redistricting because "his constituents" didn't send him to Austin with them on their list for him to do. What a bunch of Barbra Streisand. Chris is trying to get him to say that he (Moreno) thinks that this redistricting is illegal, but he won't.

What's this the Dems are saying about only redistricting every ten years (after the census, I'd assume)? Is that a law, a habit, an excuse, or something else?
