I feel sorry for animals that have to fend for themselves. I know it's part of nature and wild animals, etc., but whenever we watch the Nature Channel - seeing the animals in Africa, etc. I never want one of them to kill another animal, and know that they HAVE to. Still sad. I keep saying, "Run, run, run" to the poor creatures being chased.

"LadyX, you seem to have forgotten that a "thin man" doesn't need a lot of shade. A tiny branch with a couple of leaves would provide more than enough." Where's your compassion, T Man?!!
A few more leaves would allow you to provide shade for some tiny critters - - a toad frog or two - a bitty squirrel.
Don't leave yourself wide (perish the thought) open to criticism from The Others..:)

Does anyone have a Koi pond in their garden?I bought a couple one time and added them to the little pool you see in the opening thread above - they didn't last very long, but I think my 'pond' was too small for them - the goldfish thrive in it though. :)

Hi, Dansy - how fun today - We are Family - We got all our sistahs with us - except for daisy. : ( I miss Daisy!
We're not apartment dwellers - have plenty of room to plant stuff, but unless it's confined to the areas where the sprinkler system is, or the drip system on some of the little groves of trees, it won't make it here. Trees are not a 'natural' part of our landscape! (well, unless you count mesquite trees! LOL) We 'have' a lot of trees, but we had to plant them.

I do believe you have
wormed endeared your way into the hearts of these four ladies, Jinxie!
I am not jealous, naturally, having developed a definite intolerance for all things chocolate..:))
Besides, you already sent me the forget-me-not message the other day!
LOL

California sure has pretty places, that's for sure; I think, however, Colorado may have just as many (or more)....but it's a different pretty....everything there is just bigger, I think.

Hi, Molly - thank you, and I surely hope you are going to return more often now! We miss you! I miss you!

Afternoon, Dave - I remember when you planted that young hot tub last year. It's grown into quite a handsome, mature tub, hasn't it? :)

I pinged you to a beautiful pale pink rose that Valerie posted. Reminds me so much of the one you planted for 'me' last year!Yes, it does look a lot like "BillieRose". Doesn't Valerie take the most beautiful pictures? :-)
My two favorite roses, planted for two of my favorite people. :-)
I need to take my MIL in for a routine doctor visit. When I get home I will see if I can find a few more garden pictures to post. Did I tell you I love the theme today? I do! LOL.

So, I guess it's not a good time to have these chocolate roses delivered to your doorsteps? That's what YOU think! :)

Molly, I didn't know that she passed away yesterday. Know this has been a very sad and trying time for all of you. I am sorry for your loss; even knowing it was coming, it's still a sorrowful time.
