May 13, 2003 -- The top editors at The New York Times yesterday took the blame for failing to oust disgraced reporter Jayson Blair sooner - but staffers said heads should roll and accused the brass of a "whitewash."
"While we deplore Jayson's conduct, we also recognize that, however difficult it may be, it is the responsibility of The Times, its Publisher, its Executive Editor and its Managing Editor to protect that bond of trust and prevent such occurrences or, at the very least, uncover them rapidly," said a memo to employees.

At least tabloids are honest about their biases. The Times still denies that it's liberal!
But then I never thought this old lady would be hanging up pictures of a certain president in his flight suit either.......lolol
Liberalism isn't about accepting reality. Its about going along with your feelings. As long as your feelings matter, its hard to see why one should let a few inconvenient facts get in the way of expressing them. Which sums up the journalism culture at the New York Times and top management's indulgence of Jayson Blair.

No. Tabloids print entertaining sensationalism for the great unwashed.
The Old Gray Whore printed lies to promote left wing ideology. The New York Times is propaganda.....pure and simple.
