The governor's press secretary, Amy Shuler Goodwin, said the situation will not affect his re-election plans, and added Wise has no intention of resigning. And why should he? He hasn't done anything wrong. It's only Republicans that can do the wrong thing. Besides, we all already know all the answers - it's all about sex, it's a smear campaign, etc, etc, etc.

Angela Mascia-Frye, 35, oversees European operations for the West Virginia Development Office. The Daily Mail reported that she had accompanied Wise on a trip to Spain last year. A state full of dirt farmers and coalminers shouldn't be wasting their tax dollars on crap like this. Forget the adultery, where's the outrage about the WV Development Office and its European operations?

I have news for you Senator. Forgiveness is given. It's respect and sometimes trust that must be earned. You've squandered both.

Philip Frye, 40, of Hugheston told the Daily Mail that Wise had an affair with his wife, Angela Mascia-Frye. Frye, a musician, also said he hoped to sell the story because of financial strains. This is why Wise came clean. The wronged husband was going public.
