I can remember about 15 years ago the holier-than-thou health nuts were urging everyone to take the butter and lard out of cookies and crackers and replace with margerine and other trans-fat products. Nabisco was one of the longest holdouts, and they were urging boycotts of Nabisco products. Finally Nabisco complied, and now it has been proven that these other substitutes are worse than the original fats.
