You know the Rats are getting the picture now that Dubya does what he says he is going to do. So if he says he will pursue a tax cut every year, you can bet your 1040 that he will pursue a tax cut every year.
So, while you're dreaming, dream of how the Rats are squirming and scurrying as the ground shifts under their little rat paws.

What BS. Tax cut advocates CAN BE deficit hawks! Duhhhh! You simply cut the spending when you cut taxes and/or you cut taxes enough so that it stimulates the economy.

Let's see, federal spending up, oh, at least 22% over last two years. Give him credit for the feeble tax cut.
But to paraphrase an old Wendy's commercial:
Where's the spending cuts?

Sorry, I don't have the link, but I did see a news report today that showed polls were gaining in favor of the President's tax cut plan and were bumping over into a majority in some instances.
Of course, this article makes the unattributed, unsourced general statement that the American people are "lukewarm" to tax cuts.

It's like the Enquirer---the title they give the article isn't meant to convey it's contents, only to picque your emotions enough to get you to leaf through the rag until you find the story.

"Ever-shrinking government" is Rat code. They haul it out when they want to scare the Rat slaves.
Remember there was a segment of the Rat base that opposed the war because they felt its cost would impinge on guvmint entitlements.

The day that year-on-year FedGov Spending decreases in inflation-adjusted dollars, I will donate 10K to FR and wash the feet of every bushbot who cares to show up.
I think my money, and my dignity, are pretty darn safe.

Reagan did hamstring the incremental GROWTH of government and Bush hopes to do the same thing.
But no president in our lifetimes has actually shrank (or shrunk, or shrunkened) government.

Yeah, I know. Otherwise I would not have made such a mad challenge. Heck, I would have to sell something to pay off.
