Just been watching UK channel 4 news and they have a report stating that documents found in Baghdad have been released containing information that Al Jazeera reporters were Secret Agents for the Iraqi regime. The documents also reveal that they received gifts and payments for their services.3 people were identified in the document. Can't find any links at the moment...

There was an article recently about ALL the Arab media who were on a payout list by Saddam.

>They just had the UK editor of Al Jazeera being asked about the allegations. He denied them all.....
Don't you love the Arab linguistic characteristics of bluster, exaggeration and over-assertion.

I'M SHOCKED!The "independent" Arab media is closely collaborating with Arab governments? There's governmental interference into the media in the Middle East? This is shocking, absolutely shocking.

I think this is the Weekly Standard article talking about Saddam feeding money to the journalists:

The "independent" Arab media is closely collaborating with Arab governments? Al Jazeera is located in Qatar. So is Tommy Franks headquarters. It's all a little confusing eh?

The real payback is when those who became rich because of the Clintoon lose all of their ill gotten gains and those guilty of crimes go to jail.
However, this is a good first step.

You and most of the Freepers are waiting to see who else gets fried by the Telegraph with grins on our faces.
The left wing Islamofacists around the world are quite uptight, wondering if their name will be released.
It is the basis of a great reality show. We could have a plain brown cardboard box and Whorealdo on the Release of the Week could draw a file and read it to the world.

Elite Iraqi Republican Guards and Iraqi Military Intelligence fit into the same category as Independent Arab Media.

I believe at least one imbedded reporter with our troops was a "reporter" from Al Jazeera. I couldn't believe it. I also can't believe these (insert string of obscenities here) have opened a news bureau in DC, and are accredited reporters at the White House, possibly the DoD.

Also in his file, a note confirming that copies of letters sent to Al Jazeera by Osama Bin Laden in the wake of 9/11, were passed to Baghdad. The Bin Laden-Iraq connection keeps popping up.
I'm so glad we have a President with the courage to take action to prevent another 9/11 on our land.
We need to chase and kill the terrorist rats in the Mideast dumpster before they try to sneak into our neighborhood.
