Thousand years ago if a Christian talked against Christianity, they would kill him as blasphemous. Today, they tolerate all views. Why cant Islam progress from the Dark Age too? The point where Christianity left the Dark Ages, was when people decided the legitimacy of the State rested on the approval of the people, rather than on the approval of the religious authorities. When your legitimacy to rule derived from the Church, then any heresy threatened your position and wealth. Thus the religious wars
Islam would become more peaceful if they renounced any connection between their religion and secular rule. But they can't because the concept of Sharia law is such a fundamental part of Islam

No I don't. I don't have to explain any conflicts to you. You don't believe in Islam and your only point in listing these things is to waste my time. If you were actually interested and wished to find out more, I could provide you with information. Translation: confronted with actual passages in the Qu'ran and Hadith advocating the killing/enslavement of infidels, you cannot make a statement disclaiming the validity of those passages in modern Islam without being a heretic (and thus subject to death from fellow Muslims). Yet if those passages ARE valid, then the legitimate response from non-Muslims is to strive to strip Muslims of any power to harm non-Muslims (which you cannot allow, due to your duty to fellow Muslims which supercedes any loyalty to any non-Muslim society you may be living in)
So your only response must be to run away from the argument while accusing your debate opponent of not being worthy of a response.

It isn't anymore my duty to stop practicing Islam and seek out such battles than it is for all Catholics to go and work in shelters for abused children. We have the FBI and Interpol and a number of other crime agencies which I support with my tax dollars and with some degree of pride. All these agencies are working to fight terrorism. Here's a couple of fundmental questions that get to the heart of the matter:
1) andak01: you are in your mosque, and you overhear a pair of muslims (whose names you know) plotting to murder a local Christian who is speaking against Hamas. Would you call the FBI and tell them about the plot and the names of the plotters? Yes or no?
2) you find yourself in a situation where you are five feet away from a Muslim who is about to kill a Christian child. You have a gun. The only way to stop the killing of the child is to shoot the Muslim in the head. Would you shoot a fellow Muslim to protect a non-Muslim child? Yes or no?

Killing innocent civilians is unIslamic. I am a Muslim, therefore I am opposed to it. Those Palestinians who support such attacks do so for largely political reasons. Their justification is that no Israeli can be an innocent civilian, since they are all required to serve in the IDF. I don't agree with that assessment and consider such attacks to be war crimes. So therefore, if you had personal knowledge of such an attack being about to happen, you would immediately take whatever steps were necessary to prevent it, from informing the FBI to killing the Muslims involved if you had the opportunity? And you would advocate that other Muslims had a duty to do likewise?

I have already met my local district attorney and offered him my support as a seventh generation American. Thank you for being so supportive.
Here's the question again: if you had personal knowledge of a lethal attack by Muslims against non-Muslims being about to happen, would you immediately take whatever steps were necessary to prevent it, from informing the FBI to killing the Muslims involved if you had the opportunity?

GLOBAL CALIPHATE is what you reference. Both Putin and the PM of Singapore released documentation over the last two years that clearly shows islam's push for global dominance.
There are over 20 current small wars being fought with islamist warriors firing the first shot.

I do not believe in vigilante justice. I would report it to the police or to the FBI, but I would not kill someone based on something they said. Cool.
On the latter option, I was thinking more of a situation where there was no time, such as witnessing somebody planting a bomb, and about to set the timer

andak is a 'Cat Stevens' Muslim who will refer you to sites whuich don't necessatily agree with most Muslims...
and even n the sites he refers you to, if you read further, you will find interpretations of the KOran that conform your wors fears.
Just recently I asked the Administrator of 'Discuss-Islam.com' if the Koranic passage
" Take not Jews and Christians for Friends, for they are friends to one another",
is to be taken literally or should be interpreted some other way.
His answer, UNlike andak's, was honest, but of course, the passage means what it says.

"Islam would become more peaceful if they renounced any connection between their religion and secular rule. But they can't because the concept of Sharia law is such a fundamental part of Islam"
Israel or even the US can get all tangeled up in the biblical laws too if the citizens let them.

"(The Blight of Asia) available online about what the now almost forgotten genocide of Christians by Muslims in the 1920s."
Thanks to this so called Christian country, we have never had one single movie, or TV program to dramatize this genocide. No wonder our citizens were so surprised on 9/11---people asked why they hate us so much? They always hated us, and when they have the power, they use it, and when they don't have the power, they use the coward terrorist tactics to intimidate us. The overall goal is to convert the world into Islam.
