Hal-
God Bless you for your bravery and your aim. I have a feeling that you will pull through this just fine. Common sense will prevail over liberal ideology. I've been a patrol cop for the past 12 years and support you actions 100%. As a patrol officer,(been working graveyard shift for the past 4 years) I can tell you that we need more citizens like you. You are a hero and should be treated as such. I truly believe and wish that all law-abiding citizens should be able to carry a concealed firearm if they so choose. I'll tell you from countless interviews with street thugs, that the criminals fear the armed citizen far more than the police. Keep your head up brother. You are a hero.

Subject: MAN WHO SHOT ROBBER IN BAR WON'T FACE CHARGES
McKinney Not Indicted By Grand Jury
CINCINNATI -- A man who shot a robbery suspect in a local bar last week will not face charges.
McKinney's Charges Dropped
A grand jury declined to indict Harold McKinney of Northside, WLWT Eyewitness News 5 reported. He shot one of two young robbery suspects at Junkers Tavern on Langland Avenue in Northside last Thursday.
Police said Joseph Person and Demico Hester, both 18, came into the bar armed with handguns. Person then reportedly pointed a gun at a 68-year-old woman who was tending bar and said, "This is robbery. Nobody move. Give us the (expletive) money."
McKinney, 54, then shot Person in the head moments later, according to WLWT. He later helped police catch Hester.
The grand jurors heard from three witnesses and an officer, and after they made their decision Friday, Hamilton County Prosecutor Mike Allen said he thought the ruling was appropriate.
"These individuals chose to rob that bar," he said. "The individual took action, and the grand jury took the action they took. Let me put it this way -- I don't have any problems with what the grand jury did."
McKinney, a member of Northside Citizens on Patrol, originally faced charges of having a weapon inside a liquor establishment and felonious assault. He had been told that as a member of COP, he was not to carry a gun, nor was he supposed to take any action other than reporting crimes to police, according to WLWT.
Person and Hester each face five counts of aggravated robbery with a gun and four counts each of robbery. They could face up to 53 years in prison if they're convicted, WLWT reported.

Do you suppose.............do ya think.....is it POSSIBLE..that some sanity is returning to our judicial system?
This gives me hope!
To: dirtboy
I saw it. Thanks for the ping dirtboy.......
To: TexasCowboy
Moments of sanity are possible..........nothing long term IMO. We're gonna have to keep a boot in their collective asses 24/7 till the day they throw dirt on us TC.
But it is great noooze none the less. Hal.009 stood against crime and was not punished "criminally" for his actions. We'll have to wait for the ambulance chasers to run out of gas to see what the "liability" costs might be ......Hopefully .......zip, nada, neyt , none, nuthin !
Stay Safe !!
