Now, now. Be nice. I'm sure all of those wonderful people in West Virginia are ever so glad for all of the wonderful things Robert Byrd has done for them. Why, they've pretty much named everything in the state after him! You drive down the Robert Byrd highway over the Robert Byrd bridge to the Robert Byrd dam which provides hydroelectric power to the Robert Byrd powerplant which powers the entire Robert Byrd industrial development complex, supported by the local Robert Byrd institute of higher learning, the Robert Byrd High School and the Robert Byrd College of Liberal Arts.
Of course, that's only in the first town you drive into. To list the rest of places/things/installations that bear Robert Byrd's name would overwhelm the bandwidth of Free Republic, and quite possibly a large section of the Internet. Saddam Hussein had fewer things named after himself. What an ego!
