Makes me smile just to think of their desperate scramble for a negative spin on this practically perfect move by President Bush. :)

The Left has gone apeshit! I really hope they keep this up. Everytime the Democrats criticize it and the media, especially ABC helps its along, it gives the President free publicity. The Left is doing Karl Rove's work for him. He must be getting a good laugh or two out of all the unanticipated additional exposure on Nightline. You couldn't pay for TV time like this when the enemy is doing the job for you and in process is slamming the door on his own nose! I loooooooooooooooooove it!!! :)

How about the three they picked to commentate on the matter, one from the NYT's, one from the LAT's and the other from the Chicago Tribune..... Fair and balanced?

The "Liberals" are hysterical. Bush dances circles around them, and the more rabid they get, the more they expose themselves as fools, desperately grasping at one straw after another, hoping against hope. You could almost feel sorry for the worthless, self-serving, immoral, decadent, mendacious, meritricious, parasitic low-lifes.

They elected an embarrassment for two terms. They know it and are wracking their brains trying to come up with something to "get us back". They only make themselves look ingnorant and petty....and liars to boot. This feels like Junior High. sigh.

It is absolutely mesmerizing to watch the demonrat moths both in office and in the media make ever tightening LAZY CIRCLES around the irresistible flame of their destruction.

Good Lord! Nightline is still on the air?
Is Bernie Koppel still the host? That guy must be a fossil by now....

Anyways, it's interesting that Nightline is still based on the DNC "talking points" memo of the day.

All you need to know about how effective this is going to be for ABCNEWS:
Despite these obstacles, [Leslie] Stahl maintained that her early years with CBS were positive because they were "a huge learning experience." She had made her share of mistakes as a rookie and had learned from them.

One such mistake occurred when she was covering Ronald Reagan's reelection campaign in 1984. Apparently, Reagan had proposed some budget cuts in federally funded nursing homes and benefits for the handicapped. These cuts were very unpopular, and during re-election time, he wanted very much to improve his image on the issue. So while campaigning, he would engage in activities such as inaugurating new nursing homes and hugging and putting medals around kids at the handicapped Olympics. During these times, he would, of course, invite the press along to get some free publicity.

While covering these events, Stahl was keenly aware of Reagan's ulterior motives. So every time the camera showed Reagan's affected support for nursing homes and the handicapped, Stahl would steadfastly remind her viewers of his budget cuts.

To her surprise, her words did not have much impact on her audience.

In fact, a CBS study found that less than 25 percent of Stahl's audience understood her message while most thought that her piece was a positive news story on Ronald Reagan. It was then that she realized that "when the pictures [such as Reagan hugging a handicapped child] are emotional and powerful and when you are saying something that conflicts with them, the messages aren't married; the pictures will drown out what you say."

The RATS and their henchmen in the national media CANNOT win on this one. EVERY SINGLE TIME THEY SHOW BUSH ON THAT CARRIER, IT'S AN INCREDIBLE WIN FOR OUR SIDE. The words they use underneath the images are completely irrelevant.

[Note: The reason the quoted text is written with such an anti-GOP, anti-Reagan tone is because it's from the MIT student newspaper.]

Maybe they need to be reminded that Clinton, their lost love, has done the same thing (but without the same reaction, hence their bitterness). FReep time?

Look over HERE for lots of photos. (*Warning! Pictures may be Hazardous to your Health!)

I just sent them all the photos of Clinton embedded in the e-mail, so no excuses to avoid downloading an attachment, using the subject "Fact Check", guaranteeing they will open it. Idiots.

All people see are the images. Don't worry about it. It's good for us every time they air the images.
