ABC is broadcasting the Dem's desperation far and wide! Their entire program was dedicated to slamming President Bush's visit to the Lincoln. I find it amazing that this issue has become such an enormous talking point for the Democrats. Obviously, they don't have anything of substance to criticize about, and they are grasping at straws.

The dems, leftisit/liberal/marxists are so upset because Bush had the courage, the will and the strength to go up against their icons (the EU and the UN) and win convincingly.

He also had the courage to make that dangerous arrested landing and the troops and patriotic Americans LOVE him for it. Such courage and fortitude garner naturally the politcal support they can only seek by bribes, pandering, threatening and other activities that are outgrowths of their nature. And they know it and knash their teeth over it.

That's what their ire is really all about.

Prediction: the flyboy pictures will not be used in the campaign. They won't be needed at that point, because thanks to the Democrats, the pictures are serving that purpose now.

Bush won't have to use them in his own campaign. Due to the rescinding of much of McCain-Feingold, other interested parties can use them in their literature. Rove can claim that he has clean hands.

It would be nice if Bush spent his August vacation trying to requalify on F-15's (the trainer variant) at Lackland AFB instead of puttering around the Ranch.

Just in time for the campaign, too....

Here is Byrd's response via e-mail, received this morning. I did not receive it right away, but 6 1/2 hours after the message was sent, which leads me to believe it is not an auto-responder (?), but a cut & paste reply.
