When you have "may issue" CC laws, all records ought to be public so that you can see just how badly corrupted the system is that allows Sean Penn, who was convicted of domestic abuse and ought to be automatically prohibited from having a CC permit, yet prohibits people who live and work in the most dangerous parts of LA from protecting themselves.

This kind of hostility to decency is just reason 1001 as to why I vowed a while back that I will not go to Kalifornia again unless I have to show a passport to do so. Course, I thought I also might go to France someday too.
