Yes, you are being a bit silly and you are quite naive.

It is blatantly obvious that you know nothing about politics.

You have much to learn, but if you stick around here on this forum you will get a quick education - just keep your mind open and lose a little bit of that cynicism. Good luck!

Leahy stopped his comments with a minute and half to spare...and now is just filling time with MORE babble.

Byron York's piece at National Review today was kinda depressing...he doesn't see Republicans doing anything soon and seems to think the Republicans' possible "nuclear" option might not work after all from a parliamentary standpoint.

There shouldn't be a "resuming consideration" of anything. There should be "Estrada nomination" and that's it all day.

I would donate AFTER they had forced the dems to stop the filibusters of Estrada and Owen (et.al) and get those nominees a floor vote.

Good for you. The NRSC, NRC, and NRCC needs to understand that conservatives expect some sort of action for their generosity.

In addition, Feingold said that "those of us who take the Constitution seriously" were dismayed at Republican attempts to end the Democratic filibusters of Estrada and Owen. Feingold conceded that the filibuster was a highly unusual tactic in judicial nominations — "We do admit it's an extreme step," he said —

That is a bold face lie .. They dems are NOT taking the Constitution seriously .. they are only blocking these two nominations because they want them to come right out and say they are for abortion

Abortion is the issue at hand and NOT the Constitution .. the Dems are not fooling anyone
