People who watched as President Bush landed on the Lincoln knew that they were witnessing history and were awed by it. After he came off the plane, President Bush had such a presence and the troops were so responsive to him. It was obvious to me as I was oohing and aahhing that the evil ones would be enraged by such a sincere and touching sight of a President having fellowship with his troops.
Evil is like that. It rages and then foam comes out of Maxine Water's mouth. Eleanor Clift's neckbones start to splinter. Robert Byrd sputters and spits. Joe Conason's eyes begin to bulge. (and behind the scenes there is Hillary, sitting in her lair, planning her revenge.

From U.S. Naval Forces Central Command/U.S. 5th Fleet Public Affairs
ARABIAN GULF, Aboard USS Saipan (NNS) -- An explosion occurred May 7 in a berthing compartment aboard USS Saipan (LHA 2) injuring 11 personnel.
One of the injured has been evacuated to an Army field hospital in Kuwait with a serious arm wound and is in stable condition. The remaining injured are being treated by the ships medical personnel. None of the injuries are life-threatening.
The injured personnel were members of the 2nd Marine Expeditionary Brigade, based at Camp Lejeune, N.C., and have been deployed to the Arabian Gulf in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
The explosion occurred in a trash receptacle in Marine berthing, piercing a bulkhead and injuring personnel in the adjacent compartment. The cause of the explosion is currently under investigation.
