No, he defended the right of free association, revealing that you are a shallow thinker.

LOL, yes, take a series shower. But in all reality, this is a story for the media geeks to enjoy and those of us out in the hinterlands to be entertained by. I can't wait to listen to Boortz tommorrow as he'll be in rare form.

Ever since his book came out he has really been way to full of himself. I used to enjoy watching his show but now he acts as if he is the only one who is ever right.

O'Reilly is a lot worse than a S.O.B...but this is a family forum, so I won't say what he is.

"but Boortz defended racism, unfortunately, revealing that he too is a racist."
No, he didn't and I won't give you a pass on that. Boortz never mentioned this as a black v. white issue. He has been very consistent that this is a "freedom of association" issue. If all the black students want to have their own private party then great. If all the white students want to have their own private party then great. Since when do we need the man with the gun (that's gubmint) to force individuals into associating with each other? If the school had sponsored this event, then it has to be open to everyone. But since this was a private party, it's those individuals Constitutional right to invite who they want. Boortz for all his blowhardness has never veered from that central point in this entire broohaha.

Organizing? By students, not by the school's staff. So passing a note about an after school private event makes that even subject to federal civil rights law?
I'm not getting that.
By the way, it wasn't a cheap shot. If you're going to accuse people of racial insensitivity, you better come to the table with clean hands. Two O'Reilly remarks have offended minorities in the last several weeks, Boortz would have been remiss not to mention it. The way that O'Reilly has stalked Perdue (who did nothing) opens him up to major scrutiny.

That's tantamount to saying that a "senior" party organized at school but to held at your house when your parents leave is a "school function".This is going to shock you, but he has a point on that. Alot of Schools, use that kind of logic to punish kids for having booze bashes at there house, or having parties where there is drugs and stuff. Its not as uncommon as it should be. Personally, I think its stupid for schools to abuse power like this.

O'reilly is anything but a libertarian, he's a bad mix of social conservative and government liberalism mixed with alot of populism.

The exchnages between Royal and Neil are one of the best aspects of Neil's show. It is interesting when Royal does thew show as a stand-in. The guy is not a shallow thinker. His take on the MI entrance points for being a minority actually persuaded me off of the fence.

It doesn't shock me. The schools are run by the same misinformed socialist PC engineers that want to pump pills into 7 year olds and remove George Washington from textbooks in favor of such crushing issues like the old ERA. The problem is that teachers blame the parents when things happen to children and vice versa. It's not like my generation where if I got caught (key word there) having a party, my a** would have been surgically removed by my fathers belt.

Apparently O'Reilly was at some function where the band was late, It was band made up of minorities and he said "I hope they're not out in the parking lot stealing my hubcaps", it was a harmless joke, but of coarse the lefties in the media made a big deal of it. This is what Neil Boortz was refering to when he said Bill O'Hubcap was making a big deal out of this segregated graduation party to run cover for his remarks about the hubcaps. :-)
