HARTFORD, Conn. - Angering both sides of the abortion debate, the Connecticut Supreme Court ruled Wednesday that a fetus is a body part, akin to teeth, skin and hair that are eventually shed.
The ruling unanimously upheld the conviction of a man who tried to induce a miscarriage by slipping his girlfriend labor-inducing drugs. Edwin Sandoval argued he could not be charged with attempting to commit aggravated assault because the fetus was the target, not the mother.

Typical moral relativism. Just what I would expect from the Connecticut Supremes.

I disagree with the methodology, but I agree with the end result.

I disagree with the methodology, but I agree with the end result. No kidding, though I'd suggest that the Supreme Court's argument was unnecessary. After all, few would deny that an injury to a fetus is an injury to somebody's body.

Eventually we'll have enough contradictory legal opinions to outlaw all life on earth. This one, although clever, doesn't pass the sniff test. How can it be part of her body when the genes are different? Even blood types can be different.
Morons.

If they admit its a baby, you know a huge hole has been driven through Roe. Hence the moral sophistry and the violence done to the English language in order to make sure the fiction about what abortion actually does doesn't disturb people's conscience.

From the article: Defense attorney Paula Waite said if the fetus is its own life form, the state's abortion laws are in question. I can prove scientifically that the fetus IS its own life form. But that doesn't really matter because the entire abortion slaughter is not based on reality or science, it's based on hysteria and judicial activism, so Roe is not in jeopardy until a different perspective has the majority on the high court. And given the pissant weak-knee performance of the Pubbies over Senate judgeships, I'd say the leftists democrats will never allow the Pubbies to put conservatives on the court.

Those justices apparently have never felt little feet hammering their ribs and visible knots travelling across their abdomens as every pregnant woman has had.

Supposedly the Republicans are about to inact a senate rule change that is going to end the ability of the rats to filibuster. Change is a comin...

The pill to kill is here.
What are you going to say the next time the conversation arises in public(work/friends/etc...)?
It will set you apart. Can you handle it? Can you stand on your conscience-born convictions, regardless?
Food for thought.
