O'Reilly must really be devoid of any ideas Had the chance to listen to O'Reilly the past couple weeks. Kind of sounds like Jerry Springer.

This has absolutely nothing to do with the Governor of Georgia or Georgia's Department of Education. It has nothing to do with the high school that these students attend under threat of law or the high school's administration. Apparently, the school does not want to be involved in proms and haven't been involved in proms for 30 years or so due to racial reasons. Okay, fine.
This is a private party, organized by private people who wish to get together with their friends and have an enjoyable evening.

I don't remeber the media covering "freaknic" in Atlanta. For years this black-only college weekend held the town hostage. The weekend was devoted to black only activites and general mayhem. Where was O'Reilly then?
To: katz
As I understand this...the Gov. of Georgia should concern himself with a private prom party?
Have I got O'Reilly's rant right?
If not, please let me know.
Thanks.

Perdue didn't exactly go back on his promise. The Democratic controlled Senate threw him a fast one, on the last day of the session. Sonny could have pushed harder, for sure, but I believe he made a Solomon's choice.
We'll get to vote on the flag, but what 'everyone' thought we'd be voting on.

O'Reilly won't show the results of his poll (Would you let your child attend a segregated party?)... claims some Neo Nazi group skewed the results. Sounds like Bill's spin to me... he just didn't get the results he wanted. I use to be a fan... no more!

O'Reilly apparently has convinced himself that he has been anointed the moral light of the world.
Where's the light switch?

The fact is they apparently tried integration for the first time in 2002. 2002, not 1972 or 1982, or even 1992. Talk about Time Warp. Unless that is the way the kids at the school want it. Did that thought ever cross your mind?
