I think there is a chance of bringing about change, even in a private institution.

This kind of publicity troubles colleges, particularly if they think that it could hurt them with HS students and their families thinking of applying, or with alums upset to see that their faculty has been hijacked by the left.

Unless they have a shortage of applicants to the school, I doubt that they're concerned much about this publicity.

Again, I don't understand why conservatives do not establish some fine colleges with a conservative viewpoint. This movement could be led by conservative business and public-sector leaders. I did a search for "conservative colleges" on Google, and didn't come up with much. Unless you want to go to a church-based college, you're pretty much out of luck if you want a school with a conservative viewpoint, faculty, and administration.

Seems to me that there's an opportunity here.
